This acid is one of the most associated with reduction in the risk of cardiovascular and liver disease. Also, the picual variety, has an excellent composition in fatty acids as well as a large amount of natural antioxidants.
It is an oil with a great strength and body. Taste with notes of wood, banana and freshly cut grass, presenting a slight bitter and spicy, which give this oil a great personality.
Its intensity enhances the taste of hams, cecinas, cold cuts and cheeses.
