Olive oil is a product from the Mediterranean region, whose origins date back more than 3000 years ago. From then until now, despite the incorporation of new processes in its elaboration as well as a constant innovation, many of the traditions are followed that give rise to this great product.
For this reason, the oils of Castilla La Mancha are classified as one of the best olive oils in the world, since they combine the perfect climatic and geographical conditions for the cultivation of olive trees, a tradition of centuries and the newest technology available for the production of their oils.
In Aceites Mancha Oliva we use these factors to create a select production of olive oils, which have allowed us since our beginnings in 1921 to be one of the largest producers of olive oil in the region of Tarancón.
At present, Aceites Mancha Oliva enjoys wide national recognition thanks to the quality of its products.
The Company
In the heart of La Mancha, in 1921, the olive press "MEL" was founded, a company exclusively dedicated to the olive oil production. Its Extra Virgin Olive Oil was quickly recognized in Tarancón and region as one of the best olive oils produced in the place.
Since then until our days we have gathered knowledge and experience as olive oil masters, not leaving aside our tradition but with the highest technology, being able to spread us throughout the whole national territory thanks to the quality of our olive oils.
In 2003, a new factory was created with the most modern technology of the olive market under the name MANCHA OLIVA, S.L. dedicated exclusively to elaborate Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Our Olive Oils
Liquid gold for us, the olive oil is a vegetable oil of mainly culinary use that is extracted from the freshly harvested fruit of the olive tree. The largest producers in the world are in the vicinity of the Mediterranean Sea, Spain being the first producer in the world.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil Mancha Oliva, S.L., is made using only healthy olive, of the varieties Cornicabra and Manzanilla. They are fruity and aromatic oils, showing average values of bitter and spicy.
Almost 20% of the olive is oil, which is why in the past its extraction was with presses since there were no modern centrifuges with which we get the highest quality olive oil.
